FiveStone will be rocking Gerry Park from 6 to 8 p.m. Aug. 7 for the ninth annual Roslyn Rocks the Park outdoor concert hosted by the chamber.

The Long Island-based band is a high-energy party band, playing the top classic rock, pop, Top 40 and dance hits.

Roslyn Chamber of Commerce Vice President Lou Federico said the chamber has been hosting the Gerry Park concert since the group was re-established nine years ago and chose FiveStone because of its overarching appeal for residents.

The band’s potential set list includes “Rolling in the Deep” by Adele, “You Oughta Know” by Alanis Morisette, “Summer of ’69” by Bryan Adams, “Rebel Rebel” by David Bowie, “Don’t Stop Believing” by Journey and a dozen hits by The Beatles.

“As a chamber, we work with local businesses, but we wanted to give some things to the community themselves so the residents can enjoy something special,” Federico said. “Gerry Park is a beautiful venue and location.”

FiveStone is also performing at Memories Pub and Grill on Hillside Avenue in Williston Park on Saturday before the Gerry Park concert on Wednesday.

Federico said the event was aided by its sponsors Delicacies Gourmet, Holiday Farms, People’s United Bank, Rallye Motors, Pierce Country Day Camp, My Father’s Place, Automatic Real Estate, The Roslyn Hotel, Integrated Solutions, Sterling National Bank, Douglas Elliman Real Estate, Penn Toyota, Sotheby’s International Realty, Northwell Health, the Town of North Hempstead and the Village of Roslyn.

A rain date is set for 6 p.m. Aug. 8.

EDIT: This article was updated to reflect the new concert dates. The original dates in July were changed to August due to inclement weather.
