Congratulations to Kathleen Rice on her election to Congress!
Rice has been a champion on environmental issues as a Nassau County District Attorney and will bring that same level of commitment to her new position in Washington.
There is a full docket of environmental legislation waiting for action next year. We are going to need every green champion to advance critical initiatives such as lifting barriers to clean energy, fighting climate change, cleaning up Superfund sites and protecting Long Island’s drinking water.
Kathleen Rice’s leadership will be essential for helping to create green jobs and protecting our environment for future generations.
