I am appalled that a trustee of the library would be so mean-spirited and insensitive as to suggest that Ms. Esagoff should resign from the library board. Is that person so intolerant and uninformed that he/she is not familiar with such statements as “There but by the Grace of…..” or “Judge not lest ye….”? Ms. Esagoff deserves support, respect, and gratitude for the service she has renders to the library as well as to our community. I am concerned that the judgmental trustee, who did not want to be named, would next be deciding upon what books we should or should not be reading.
