Remember 9/11

Thirteenth anniversary of 9/11

is here with memories

of evil tragedy,  when blood,

sweat and tears was shed right here in N.YC.

Many lives were lost

when evil reigned on that day.

Many lives laid

broken hearted, with many children

cried after mommy and daddy died

as they asked why ?

A nation grieved  and asking

why so many had to die.

Our minds drifted back in time

to 9/11, which is forever on

our minds.

Towers once so tall and noble

fell so low as a nation was humbled.

We still remember the firemen, police,

EMS, and Port Authority police too.

Many still remember the brave things

they did as our hearts were torn.

But our spirit did live on.

We did see what evil did

but remember the Phoenix bird

that did burn and did arise again.

Just like our spirit was reborn again,

in you and I as our spirit

was raised high again.
