I received a letter from the IRS. Upon opening it, I found the letter to be from the White House (not the IRS) telling me about the Economic Impact Payment that I had received. It was signed by the president. What an absolute waste of taxpayers’ money!
I am certain that many millions of these letters went out. Was this necessary?
One of the sentences in the letter states: “Our top priority is your health and safety.”
But all the White House wants to do is to get the economy rolling.
Yes, I want the economy to get much better but not the way the White House has been pushing to open up. Since there are many things still unknown about this virus, we must proceed with the utmost caution.
The most important thing to do right now is to control and produce a vaccine for the coronavirus and ensure that the health of the people of the United States is the top priority. Remember, without people, there is no economy.
I also thank all the nurses, doctors, aides, emergency workers and all who have literally put their lives on the line to treat those who have been affected by this disease. God bless you all.
