Readers Write: Trump election commission necessary

The Island Now

This letter is the second part of a response to an article written by Karen Rubin in the July 7, 2017 edition of the Roslyn Times.

Ms. Rubin’s original article discussed the “Orwellian” nature of President Trump’s Committee on Election Integrity.

She claimed it was not only unnecessary but was actually part of a scheme to dishonestly skew the vote towards the Republicans in future elections.

I have to say that is quite rich coming from a representative of the most corrupt party in American history that nominated the most corrupt candidate in American history.

When we talk about illegal voting, we are talking about non-citizens voting.

This includes not only illegal aliens, but people who are in the country legally but are not citizens.

We are also talking about felons who have lost the right to vote.

To begin with, I think it appropriate to talk about voter suppression.

While charges are always levelled at the Republicans for supposed attempts at voter suppression, the best example of such suppression happened in the 2012 election.

Some people might want to forget, but I will not, that the Democrats used the IRS to suppress conservative groups from obtaining tax exempt status.

The Tea Party and other patriot groups were adding millions of Republicans to the voting rolls until Lois Lerner and her ilk began denying their applications.

This stopped the Republican voter drive cold.

Furthermore, the IRS harassed and intimidated the principals of these organizations.

The abuse was so blatant that the IRS, as reported in the Washington Post, actually admitted and apologized for their behavior.

As of today, Judicial Watch has sued the IRS and is requesting e-mail records from the agency via a FOIA request.

Justice is still being pursued.  The IRS is doing its best to obstruct the investigation.

The Democrats have also charged the Republicans with “racism” for wanting voter identification before someone could register to vote.

I refer you to https://www.washingtonexaminer.com/24-things-that-require-a-photo-id/article/2534254.

This website shows you 24 instances where showing identification is required.  I will not list all 24 here.

But to list a few; pick up a prescription; buy a cell phone; get a fishing permit, etc.  So why not to vote?

We know why.  They want to commit voter I.D. fraud.

It should be noted that Trump won about 2,600 counties and Hillary won about 500.

I bring this up because the most blatant corruption of the voting system takes place in large cities where the Democrats often have one party rule.

So the focus should be on the cities.

In the case of California, the entire state has one-party rule.  It has a Democratic governor and a veto proof state Legislature.

California added 4 million people to the voter rolls for the last election.

Since California votes Democratic anyway, one might ask what advantage is it to pad the voter rolls.

The answer is it allows them to deceitfully get more electoral votes in future elections.  According to the Orange County Register, California handed out 605,000 driver’s licenses to undocumented applicants.

Remember ACORN.

This was once a huge organization that had 500,000 members and was represented in over 100 cities.  They promoted the Democratic agenda.  They also conducted voter registration drives.

Undercover videos showed them to be illegally registering voters.  ACORN claimed the videos were edited and untruthful.

Yet, the organization is defunct now.  So there must have been more truth to them than ACORN admits.

The Pew organization stated that approximately 24 million voter registrations are no longer valid or are significantly outdated.

While they did not say how many of these voter registrations turned out to be actual illegal votes, it certainly leaves a fertile field for voter fraud.

If you want good examples of how that fertile field could be exploited, I invite you to google James O’Keefe Project Veritas undercover videos.

While he has done many illuminating videos that embarrass the hell out of the Democrats, I am now only referring to those that show voter registration irregularities.

He showed Clinton campaign violations in Iowa where the campaign registration volunteers would not register a voter if they did not discern that potential voter was a Hillary supporter.

The same type of violations were  shown in Nevada with the Clinton campaign manager, Christina Gupana, leading the charge to “do whatever you could get away with.”

Henry Engelstein, a Nevada campaign worker, was shown laughing at how easy it was to register unqualified voters.  Then, there is Chicago, with its noted history of upholding high election standards.  Election judges are supposed to represent both Democrats and Republicans.

The video shows imposters in place of Republican judges.  Forward to New Hampshire where voter registration workers are seen admitting they did not know or care if the voter names were deceased.

In Washington, D.C. James O’Keefe actually was allowed to register as Eric Holder, the then Attorney General of the U.S.

That registration worker said no identification was necessary.  There are more videos of corruption in Colorado, Brooklyn, North Carolina, etc.

He actually has a video of Alan Schulkin, the Commissioner of Board of Elections in New York City describe how they bus around voters to different precincts so that votes can be cast multiple times.

Subsequent to this video, Schulkin was fired.

Another example highlighted Scott Foval, the political director at People for the American Way (the American Way?), bragging how they have transported illegal voters around for the last 50 years.

He was proud at his shrewdness in that he did not use buses; which could be traced.  Instead, he obtained individual cars with the appropriate state license plates at used car auctions, and then sold them back after the election.

Lastly, I recommend you visit https://www.judicialwatch.org/blog/tag/voter-fraud/.

Judicial Watch convened a panel to discuss the issue.

I hoped I proved my point that the Commission on Election Integrity is justified in its investigations.

I believe anyone opposed to the commission is deceitful and corrupt in their admonitions.

I am a U.S. citizen and I have rights.  I do not want my vote disenfranchised with fraudulent voting.
