Messier 37 Star Cluster
Look at this sky full of stars.
They appear everywhere, though not
randomly or too common.
Which of them shine for me and me alone?
A light so far away that comes the distance
with deep wonder, not indifference—
a necessary brilliance, and a long delineation.
A beautiful cluster of starlight is bright
and black, falling down form the open sky.
Night is a window.
