It is natural to support someone merely because they belong to the same political party. Yet it could blemish you.
Amongst different groups, Steven Markowitz asked for support letters to be sent by his political friends to local newspapers when the validity of his 2015 campaign email was a topic.
At some point Mr. Markowitz even claimed that he never wrote the 2015 email wherein hate language and scare tactics was used for wining an election. Now, against all odds, Mr. Markowitz takes responsibility for the email!
Some known Democrats, e.g., Robert Zimmerman, Michelle Schimmel and Gary Ackerman wrote the most amazing support letters for Markowitz.
Undoubtedly, the unwarranted support damaged the supporters and the Democratic Party.
They may wish to make statements and distance from the undemocratic language used by Mr. Markowitz in his 2015 email for winning an election.
