Great Neck Park District Commissioner Frank Cilluffo is up for re-election on Dec. 13, and I urge all park district residents to come out and cast their vote for Commissioner Cilluffo.
I had supported Commissioner Cilluffo in his election bid three years ago and since then during his term of office have watched him closely at meetings I often attend and through personal participation in park district activities.
In my opinion, Commissioner Cilluffo has shown a strong dedication to the job as reflected in his strong interest in promoting the best programs for our parks and its residents.
Commissioner Cilluffo has played a constructive role in a wide range of decisions and activities as, for example, in the selection of a new park superintendent who appears to be an outstanding choice, in decisions to repair and upgrade various park facilities and programs and in ongoing efforts to acquire a new community center.
In all of these wide-ranging activities Commissioner Cilluffo has shown a sensitive, careful and deliberative nature.
He also plays a direct role in many sporting programs both as a player and a coach.
Clearly in my view he has earned another term as park commissioner.
Please go out and vote at your local polling place on Dec. 13.
