I saw in last week’s paper that Marnie Ives has joined mayoral candidate Leonard Katz’s ticket as a candidate for trustee on his Revive Great Neck Plaza party ticket. I think it says a lot about Katz, being joined by a long-term Plaza resident who is also a town merchant. This is a well-balanced ticket that, I’m sure, he can be justly proud of.
The Katz team has all the ingredients to fix our problems, i.e., caring concern for residents and businesses, executive experience, business experience, and the desire, drive, and proven competence to successfully get the job done. We need leaders who will work hard, listen to and understand our concerns, and address our real needs. The Katz team will restore and revitalize Great Neck Plaza.
I say write-in your votes for new strong leadership in Great Neck Plaza. Vote by absentee ballot, or in person on Sept. 15, for Leonard Katz for mayor and Marnie Ives and Robert Farajollah for trustees.
