Readers Write: Congress has the power over post office

The Island Now

I quote:

“Article 1 Section 8 of The United States Constitution (emphasis mine)

The Congress SHALL have power…. to establish post offices and post roads.”

The power to regulate or manage the USPS does not rest with ANY President, least of all one who would manipulate and mismanage same for political advantage. The Current Occupant of the White House, who shall remain nameless, has publicly and explicitly stated that this is his precise intention.

This CO would have himself as nothing less than the authoritarian strongman of a fascist banana republic (where ONLY HE gets a second helping of bananas), a truly SAD state of affairs.
