Rabbi Mike Uram to Speak at Temple Beth Sholom on Sept. 23 at 8 p.m.

Next Generation Judaism author Rabbi Mike Uram will address both high school and college students as well as adults in his talk on anti-Semitism, anti-Israel sentiment, and the BDS Movement on Monday, September 23, at 8 p.m. at Temple Beth Sholom. The event is free and open to the public.

High school and college students are welcome to dine with Rabbi Uram from 6 to 7:30 p.m. for a discussion on “Choosing a College and Finding a Jewish Home of Campus.” They must respond to Rabbi Uri Allen at rabbiallen@tbsroslyn.org in advance.

Rabbi Uram is the Executive Director of Hillel and Campus Life at the University of Pennsylvania, and a frequent public speaker. His best-selling book, Next Generation Judaism: How College Students and Hillel Can Help Reinvent Jewish Organizations,won a National Jewish Book Award in 2016. Rabbi Uram will discuss the impact of anti-Semitism throughout the world and share strategies to help combat this phenomenon.
