Great Neck Water Pollution Control District
Notice is hereby given that the Board of Commissioners of the Great Neck Water Pollution Control District will hold a public hearing at the office of the District, 236 East Shore Road, Great Neck, New York on March 1, 2018 at 7:00 p.m., to consider and act upon a proposed Petition by said Board of Commissioners to the Town Board of the Town of North Hempstead for the acceptance and approval by said Town Board of reauthorization of a previously approved bond issue for construction of (1) Bulkhead replacement (2) Shelter Rock Pump Station Upgrade; and (3) Manhasset Valley Pump Station Upgrade; 4) Elimination of Primary Settling Tank No. 1,2,3 & 4; the above improvements are to be installed at the District’s treatment plant and remote pump stations located at 236 East Shore Road, Great Neck, New York, 26 Bayview Avenue, Manhasset, New York and 7 Shelter Rock Road, Manhasset, New York, which Petition states that the maximum authorized bonding amount requested to be expended shall not exceed the previously authorized $16,905,000. All persons interested are invited to attend and will be heard.
A copy of the proposed Petition is on file at the office of the District and is open to inspection during regular business hours by any interested person.
