Preschoolers pick the perfect pumpkins

The Pre-K students at Little Sprouts Preschool in New Hyde Park celebrated Halloween recently with a  romp in the school’s “pumpkin patch.” They picked the perfect pumpkin to decorate with their families, and the following day, dressed in costume, they paraded and performed holiday songs. Students then got busy with their special guests in the school’s gym. Pumpkin designs ranged from bats to cats, and every one displayed creativity. The annual event is one of many that encourages parent involvement in their children’s school lives.
