Officials are searching for a man who broke into a rental car store in Mineola and caused thousands of dollars in damage, according to the Nassau County Police Department.

Officials said an unknown man broke the glass from the front door of Enterprise Rental Car  at 297 W. The man was described as white, 5-foot-9, with a medium build, and he wore a black face mask, a black jacket, blue sweatpants with a white stripe on them, a gray hat and black sneakers, according to a news release.
