Police arrested a New Hyde Park man Tuesday for allegedly robbing a Roslyn Heights gas station.
Matthew Williams, 23, pretended he had a gun and demanded money from a clerk at the Citgo station at 1 Powerhouse Road Tuesday afternoon, police said.
He allegedly ran from the scene, but police saw him on Parkside Drive and arrested him.
Williams will be arraigned Wednesday on charges of first- and third-degree robbery.
Police said they did not know how much money Williams took from the gas station.
