Plaza to feature Asian-American performers

The Asian-American Cultural Circle of Unity (AACCU), a group of musicians and dancers that portrays various forms of cultural arts, will be one of the featured performances in the first-ever Multicultural Fest in the Village of a Neck Plaza. 

Their singular style of music and dance from China, Taiwan, Japan and India provide the perfect way to experience Asian traditions and gain a deeper appreciation for music and dance. 

The lively, family-friendly Multicultural Fest aims to celebrate the diversity of the Great Neck region through live entertainment, dining, games and rides.

The Multicultural Fest will be held on Sunday, June 26 on Middle Neck Road between Grace Avenue and Maple Drive. 

The Asian-American Cultural Circle of Unity will be performing music and dance from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. 

Other entertainment during the day will include Katya’s School of Dance from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m., Nina Et Cetera from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. and The Klezical Tradition from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. 

In addition, the event will have a variety of cultural activities and foods throughout the day. 

The Asian-American Cultural Circle of Unity (www.aaccu.org) hosts live performances, workshops, festivals and seminars to promote the different Asian cultures on Long Island. 

The organization aims to connect people of all ages and create a sense of cultural unity through music and dance.
