The Great Neck Plaza Business Improvement District and the Village of Great Neck Plaza will be hosting one of their annual Promenade Nights on Thursday, July 11.

This edition of Promenade Night, which will be located on Middle Neck Road between North Station and Grace Avenue, is part of the BID’s Summer Promenade Night series that provides residents with an enjoyable evening of fine dining and live entertainment in a relaxed outdoor setting.

“Our Promenade Nights represent the importance of continuing to build a strong community in Great Neck Plaza,” said Jay Corn, Board vice president and events committee chairperson . “We encourage families and friends to come together to enjoy a night out and support our local businesses.”

Restaurants participating in Promenade Night include Sip City, Bareburger, Ethos Greek Cuisine, Café Kriza, and 16 Handles.

In addition, Jenna Pasqua, an internationally acclaimed singer, award winning composer, and winner of the BID’s 2012 Great Neck Idol competition, will perform live. Pasqua also won the prestigious Zecchino d’Oro vocal competition and was offered the role of young Cosette in the national tour of Les Miserables. She attended Long Island’s High School for the Performing Arts and pursued her vocal career at the Julliard School. A caricaturist and Chinese paper writer will also provide entertainment for patrons during the evening, which will begin at 6:30 p.m. and conclude at 10:30 p.m.

“These promenade nights give community members and friends the opportunity to enjoy truly unique dining experiences,” said Ron Edelson, Great Neck Plaza BID executive director. “These events have become a staple of the summer and people truly look forward to them every year.”
