The American Airpower Museum is hosting “Children of the April Rain,” a reading of a new play for Veterans Day on Friday, Nov. 11 at 1 p.m.
“Children of the April Rain” began when, upon meeting the play’s main characters, writer William Bryant Doty, combined their memoirs to create a story of mostly defenseless American civilians facing the fall of Saigon during the Vietnam War, according to a press release from The American Airpower Museum.
Regular admission is $10 for adults; $8 for seniors; and $5 for children age five to 13 — under five is free.
All veterans will be admitted free with proof of service, with a DD-214 or other form of proof.
