Town of North Hempstead will be proceeding with installing a perimeter guardrail at Manhasset Valley Park in order to increase the safety of the park and the safety of the pedestrians using the park.
The job is estimated to begin on Oct. 2.
Please note that parking along Maple Street and on the grass area adjacent to the parking lot will no longer be available. Parking is limited, and people should carpool whenever possible.
The Town of North Hempstead is working on additional parking options.
