On Monday, March 9, 2020, Parker’s leadership held organization-wide Town Halls to update and inform staff of the reinforced protocols to ensure the safety, health, and well-being of our community.

Michael N. Rosenblut, president and chief executive officer of Parker Jewish Institute for Health Care and Rehabilitation, expressed at the meetings that Parker takes infection control very seriously and that all guidelines for precautionary tactics against the virus are being reinforced, from the very first moment you walk in the door.

“We take the health of our patients, residents, staff and their respective families, very seriously. We will remain vigilant and will continue to work closely with state and federal health officials to continue to protect our community and the people we deliver our services to, both inside and outside of the facility.“

Dr. Igor Israel, medical director, reiterated the importance of practicing infection control and how to ensure that any virus, especially Covid-19, does not spread.
