Pall Corporation up for sale

Eight months after being purchased by a Washington D.C.-based conglomerate, Pall Corporation’s 16-acre headquarters in Port Washington is up for sale, according to real estate officials.

Lake Success-based brokerage Colliers International has the 272,142-square-foot facility that houses Pall’s administrative and laboratory operations listed on its website.

Real estate officials told Long Island Business News that the Port Washington filtration company located at 25 Harbor Park Drive in Port Washington may be seeking a sale/leaseback of its headquarters, which would allow it to continue operations for an undetermined length of time.

Pall Corporation opened in 2009 and was designed by Woodbury-based Spector Group. The complex employes more than 600 people and is the size of three football fields and features 35-foot ceilings, glass-walled offices, a café and galleries lit by skylights.

In August 2015, Danaher Corporation closed a $13.8 billion sale on Pall Corporation, a company that makes systems that remove contaminants or separate substances from a variety of solids, liquids and gases.

The sale back in August merged Pall Corporation with Danaher Corporation, a science and technology company that includes diagnostics, dental and water quality businesses.

Efforts to reach company officials were unavailing.
