Dear members of the Manhasset community,
I would like to thank everyone who contributed to my Philippines collection drive and made it successful! We had a great turn out! The items were delivered on January 11th to the Philippine Community Center in Jersey City. They hope to ship all of the donations in the next upcoming weeks. When my father and I brought the donations, Monica Robara, who was in charge of the collections at the center, became very emotional and was overjoyed with the large number of donations. This collection drive would not have been such a big success if it wasn’t for each and every one of you who took this opportunity to make the world a better place. You have all shown that a small group of people can indeed make a difference!
