Our Space celebrates Adult Day Services Week

The Herricks Alzheimer’s Day Program, also known as “Our Space,” celebrated Adult Day Services Week on Sept. 20 with members and their families, along with staff, members of the program’s advisory board, and state and local officials.

Williston Park Mayor Paul Ehrbar, Assemblyman Tony D’Urso, Councilman Peter Zuckerman;Town Clerk Wayne Wink, Legislator Ellen Birnbaum, and Donna Reed, administrator of community service from Nassau County Department for the Aging, along with Caitlyn Murphy, coordinator of NY Connects, were present.

The program directors were presented a citation from the Nassau County Office of the Executive. Once again, King Kullen donated a delicious sheet cake and fruit presentation for the party.

The program is operated by the Herricks School District and is made possible by funding from the Nassau County Office for the Aging through the New York State Office for the Aging and the U.S. Administration on Aging.
