One World Girl is offering a four-part leadership series for teenage girls to explore what it means to be a leader in this global, modern world.
The workshop series is designed to educate teenage girls in an interactive, creative environment with space to share stories and explore life issues with peers from diverse backgrounds.
Girls will also be empowered to identify leadership abilities while looking beyond current perspectives and challenging experiences to deepen understanding, break down barriers and build community.
The workshops will be held from 3 to 5 p.m. April 8, 15, 22 and 29. Each week, the location will rotate to a different home in the Town of North Hempstead.
While the workshops are free, participants should commit to all four sessions.
Space is limited to 12 girls, so to register or for more information, contact Executive Director Lesley Mazzotta at lesleym@oneworldgirl.org or (917) 623-4554.
