Readers Write: Obama, GOP congressmen share fault on shutdown

The Island Now

If we stand on Obama’s point of view, Congress, or more precisely Republican Congressmen, caused all the nonsense that could lead to disaster for the country and even the whole world.

If we see things from the opposite side, Obama’s irresponsible financial policy – over spending, still wanting to spend more, redistributing the wealth by reimbursing premium with tax credit – could share some of the blame.

Assuming that we have unlimited resources in the U.S., money can be harvested from the trees. We have the means and willingness to harvest it, Obama should prevail.

Who doesn’t need medical care?

In the reality, this is a somewhat rotten country, with too many spoiled citizens who have unfillable stomachs and lazy character. Obama’s policy is not a sustainable policy after all.

When you open your eyes, be honest, pretty soon the super bubble will pop. At that time the damage might be worse than nuclear attack. It will take a long time to re-establish a new financial order.

At present, most people may only see and listen to what Obama has said on national media. In his speech, it appears to be merely accusing and labeling Republicans in order to claim that they are trying to break the country.

Isn’t such kind of talking merely a one-sided-statement?

Obama refuses to negotiate in settling the dispute. As I can easily see it, it’s just like two billy goats meet in the middle of a log bridge over some rapid, neither one is willing to back off, or to compromise a bit.

If someone else is trying to get through, both goats will certainly fall and be washed away to their death. Under similar circumstance, what responsible parties are in such a “great” country like the U.S.?
