This is a rebuttal to Preident. Obama’s ad chastising candidate Mitt Romney.
You may recall this ad in which a man states he lost his job. What they don’t state is that he was offered a buyout at the time but refused it. In the ad, he indicated that his wife had the misfortune of being diagnosed with cancer and later died. What the ad does not state is that his wife had her own insurance, and was actually diagnosed five years after her husband’s layoff.
This is my story about Obama and his handling of the economy: My brother lost his job at a Madison Avenue firm, and then he found another job at a lower salary. He was laid off from that position as well. He could not find another job. He had no insurance. COBRA was over $1,000 per mo.
In 2011 he developed back pain and did not go to the doctor because he had no insurance. Finally, in January 2012, the pain was so bad, my mother gave my brother $5,000 for an MRI and found that he was diagnosed with Stage 4 Cholangiocarcinoma. My brother died 12 days after the diagnosis.
The economy is so bad, my brother could not find a job. He couldn’t buy insurance because it was too expensive, and because his wife worked, he could not apply for medical assistance. If illegal immigrants with no insurance can be treated for free, why couldn’t my brother? Did Obama kill my brother?
