NOTICE TO BIDDERS

The Bid Documents consisting of the Notice to Bidders, Instructions to Bidders, Bidder’s Experience Statement, Bidder’s Certificates and Affidavits, Bid Proposal and Specifications may be examined at the Village Hall of the Inc. Village of East Hills, 209 Harbor Hill Road, East Hills, NY 11576 commencing on Wednesday January 30, 2019. Sealed bids will be received by the Inc. Village of East Hills, at the Village Clerk’s Office, at the Village Hall, 209 Harbor Hill Road, East Hills, NY 11576 from Wednesday, January 30, 2019 until 10:00 AM on February 15, 2019. Subsequently, at 10:30am on February 15, 2019 all bids received will be opened and considered for:

OUTDOOR FURNITURE PROCUREMENT

The scope of the goods to be purchased includes: Telescope, or comparable manufacturer of like quality, color, and look for 426 (quantity) 8L3K Reliance Sling Kona Color Frame Stacking Chaise Seat 14”; (with an Alternate “A” with 426 (quantity) 8L3K Reliance Sling Kona Color Frame Stacking Chaise Seat 18” );226 (quantity) 8L7K Stacking CafChair Frame Kona, and 20 Chair Replacement Sling, 30 Chaise Replacement Sling; all with Fabric A with freight to Village included. The warranty included shall be five years on the frame and one year on the Sling Fabric.

The Bid Documents are available electronically and may be obtained by emailing the Village Clerk, Donna Gooch, at DGooch@villageofeasthills.org. All bidders must comply with the rules and regulations for the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990.

Any bid received after stated closing time will be returned unopened. If bids are sent by mail to the Village Clerk, the bidder shall be responsible for actual delivery of the bid to the Village Clerk before the advertised date and hour for opening of bids. If mail is delayed by the postal service, courier service, or in the internal mail system of the Village beyond the date and hour set for the bid opening, bids thus delayed will not be considered and will be returned unopened.

Bidders are required to execute a non-collusive bidding certification required by Section 103-d of the General Municipal Law of the State of New York. Bidders are also required to comply with the anti-discrimination provisions of Sections 290-301 of the Executive Law of the State of New York. Bids must be accompanied by a certified check in the amount equal to not less than ten percent (10%) of the total amount bid payable to the Inc. Village of East Hills or a bid bond in the same amount and in such form as is acceptable to the Village Attorney. The Village reserves the right to reject any or all of the Bids received, to provide addendum at any time before the bid opening with updates, changes, and amendments, advertise for Bids, to abandon the project, to waive any or all informalities in any Bid received and to accept any proposal which the Village determines to be the Lowest Responsible Bid in accordance with Article 5-A of the General Municipal Law.
