Town of North Hempstead – Board of Zoning Appeals

Pursuant to the provisions of the Code of the Town of North Hempstead, NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Board of Zoning Appeals of said Town will conduct a Zoom meeting, on Wednesday, June 2, 2021, at 10:00am as permitted by the suspension of the NYS Open Meetings Law to consider any matters that may properly be heard by said Board, and will hold a public hearing on said date to consider applications and appeals.The following cases will be called at said public hearing. APPEAL #21061 – Compass Greater NY, LLC; 1468 Northern Blvd., Manhasset; Section 3, Block 145, Lot 206; Zoned Business AVariances §§70-103(A)(1), 70-103(B), 70-103(F), & 70-134 to construct interior alterations to convert an existing retail building to office space with not enough parking, parking spaces that are too small, no loading/unloading areas, and a trash enclosure and shed located within a required rear yard.APPEAL #21062 – Fifth Ave. of LI Realty (Versace Signs); 2006 Northern Boulevard, Manhasset; Section 3, Block 183, Lot 12; Zoned: Business-AVariances from §§70-196.J(1)(a) and 70-196.J(1)(f) to erect more than 1 sign on a wall and a sign that is too high above the ground.APPEAL #21059 – Fifth Ave of LI Realty (Michael Kors Sign); 2004 Northern Blvd., Manhasset; Section 3, Block 183, Lot 12; Zoned Business AVariance §70-196.J(1)(f) to construct a wall sign that is too high.The full list of cases for this calendar may be obtained at www.northhempsteadny.gov.
