NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
Town of North Hempstead – Board of Zoning Appeals
Pursuant to the provisions of the Code of the Town of North Hempstead, NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Board of Zoning Appeals of said Town will conduct a Zoom meeting, on Wednesday, April 21, 2021, at 10:00am as permitted by the suspension of the NYS Open Meetings Law to consider any matters that may properly be heard by said Board, and will hold a public hearing on said date to consider applications and appeals.
The following cases will be called at said public hearing.
APPEAL #21041 – Rajesh Subraj; 2 Parkway Dr., Roslyn Heights; Section 7, Block 172, Lot 11, Zoned Residence-AA Variances §§ 70-102.C(1), 70-102.C(5)(a), 70-102.C(2)(a)[5] & 70-100.2A(2) 70-100.2A(4)(b), 70-100.2D, & 70-100.2I to construct an in-ground pool within a side yard and too close to a rear and side property line, to erect a pool enclosure (fencing) within a front yard and along the side property line which exceeds the permitted height, fencing in a front yard, to locate pool equipment too close to the rear property line, to erect a wood burning fire pit too close to the rear property line, to locate a raised fireball and water feature in the rear yard too close to the side property line and to construct a raised seating wall too close to the rear property line.
APPEAL #21042 – Kelly Gee; 105 Shepherd Lane, Roslyn Heights; Section 7, Block 227, Lot 12, Zoned Residential-AA Variance from §§ 70-18 and 70-20.C to construct additions to a home that will cover too much of the lot and a portico that will be too close to the street.

Please include your first and last name, street address, email address, any prepared written comments/questions and the appeal number you wish to be heard on. Comments will be limited to 3 minutes per speaker. Members of the public can email written comments or questions addressed to the Board. Written comments must be received 60 minutes prior to the meeting. Questions and/or comments which are timely submitted will be accepted and made a part of the record.
