NOTICE OF PUBLIC

HEARING

Town of North Hempstead​—​Board of Zoning Appeals

Pursuant to the provisions of the Code of the Town of North Hempstead, NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Board of Zoning Appeals of said Town will meet at Town Hall, 220 Plandome Road, Manhasset, New York, on Wednesday, June 19, 2019, to consider any matters that may properly be heard by said Board, and will hold a public hearing on said date to consider applications and appeals.

The following cases will be called at said public hearing starting at 10:00 a.m.

APPEAL #20754 ​​ Port Prop, LLC, Appeal for determination, or in the alternative variance 70-44 to maintain a commercial use in a residential zone, not a permitted use, and variances 70-103(A)(1), & 70-208(F) having insufficient off-street parking; N/Side #37 Avenue A, 259’ E/of Cross St., Port Washington, Sec. 4, Blk. 38, Lot 12, R-C Districts.

APPEAL #20756​—​Temple Beth Israel, variances 70-39 and 70-103.A(1) and 70-229.A to construct additions exceeding the permitted gross floor area, interior alterations with insufficient off-street parking, and non-compliance with a previous BZA decision (#16246); S/side Temple Dr. between Haven Avenue & Mackey Ave., Port Washington, Sec. 5. Blk. F, Lot 22, R-B District.
