LEGAL NOTICE – NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING ON TENTATIVE BUDGET
INC. VILLAGE OF EAST WILLISTON
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Board of Trustees of the Incorporated Village of East Williston will hold a public hearing on Monday, April 5, 2021 at 7:30 p.m. at the Village Hall, 2 Prospect Street, East Williston, New York in accordance with Sections 5-506 and 5-508 of the Village Law for the purpose of considering the adoption of the Village Budget for the fiscal year June 1, 2021 through May 31, 2022. At such hearing, any person may be heard in favor of, or against the budget as compiled, or for or against any item therein contained. The proceedings will be held both in person and remotely. If you would like to participate in the proceedings, you may join from your computer, tablet or smartphone.† Instructions for doing so will be posted to the Village website at https://www.eastwilliston.org in advance of the meeting,The meetings will be recorded and later transcribed.A copy of the tentative budget is available at the Office of the Village Clerk where it may be inspected by any interested person during the hours of 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. The following compensation to be paid to the Board of Trustees and the Mayor, each of which remains the same as the past fiscal year:
Mayor: $250.00 per month Trustee: $200.00 per month
