Nordstrom Rack is coming to Manhasset.

The off-price retail division of the Seattle-based Nordstrom, Inc. is set to move into the two-floor, 32,000 square-foot former location of Filene’s Basement at 1400 Northern Boulevard by next spring, Nordstrom officials said Friday.

The store will join supermarket King Kullen, department store Marshalls and arts and crafts retailer Michaels as part of the Manhasset Center, owned by the New Hyde Park-based Kimco Realty Corporation.

“We are pleased to have Nordstrom Rack as a tenant at Kimco’s Manhasset Center, and are confident that the new Rack store will be a dynamic addition to the center,” Kimco Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer Michael Pappagallo said in a press release. “This latest store represents our ninth location with the company, and further enhances our strong partnership with this upscale fashion retailer.”

Nordstrom Rack, which carries Nordstrom merchandise at 50-60 percent off original prices, opened two Long Island locations last year at the Huntington Shopping Center and at the Gallery at Westbury Plaza in addition to relocating a store in White Plains.

“We’re excited about the opportunity to open our third Nordstrom Rack on Long Island at a terrific location in the Manhasset community,” Nordstrom Rack President Geevy Thomas said in a statement. “It’s important that we continue to look for ways to serve our customers more conveniently and we hope this new Rack will do just that.”
