Congratulations to the New Hyde Park GU15 Lady Lynx who won the Discovery Cup during the Columbus Day weekend in Boyds, Maryland!
The Lady Lynx defense was awesome, having allowed only one goal in four games.
The offense was provided by Maeve O’Sullivan, Andrea D’ Sa, and Erykah Edwards, with one goal each and 2 goals for Sharon Greene.
In the championship game, the Lady Lynx went up against Quickstrike from Newburgh, NY. It was a tight match but the NHP girls pulled it off and won by a score of 1-0.
