Brooklyn trio rob Floral Park jewelry store

A Brooklyn woman was arrested for a Floral Park jewelry store robbery on Saturday, but two male accomplices have not been caught.

The two men, wearing dark clothing and black masks, took out handguns and demanded jewelry from two employees at Atelier Jewelers on 10 Woodbine Court, according to a police statement. Floral Park police said they caught Keisha Payton, 24, as she fled the store after the group stole an unknown amount of jewelry, but the men escaped.

One suspect was described as black and 5–foot-11 with an average build. The second was described as black, 6 feet tall and thin.

Payton was charged with first-degree robbery.

No injuries were reported.
