New Hyde Park Memorial High School senior Olivia Wong has been accepted into the NYSSMA All-State Symphonic Orchestra.
Wong, who is a violinist in the New Hyde Park Senior High Orchestra, will be participating in a virtual All-State performance this December. In order to be accepted into the orchestra, Wong received a score of 100 and a rating of A+ on her Level 6 2019 All-State audition.
In addition to this accomplishment, Wong has been a member of the Nassau All-County Orchestra and the Long Island String Festival Orchestra, as well as the Children’s Orchestral Society. Wong has performed at Carnegie Hall and has played with world-famous soloists, including violinist Ray Chen.
