New Hyde Park Memorial High School students and siblings Parsva and Pari Shah utilized online crowdfunding to buy approximately 1,900 masks for the frontline workers at Mount Sinai South Nassau Hospital in Oceanside.
The siblings have ties to the hospital, as their mother is a hospital employee and Parsva has volunteered there during the summers.
On June 2, Parsva and Pari, joined by principal Richard Faccio, delivered the masks to the hospital.
