Saturday May 3, the Greater New Hyde Park Chamber of Commerce held a parade of cars to honor our local heroes who have gone beyond the call of duty in saving lives and tending to the sick. We are grateful for our first responders, health care providers, and food service workers. The parade zig-zagged west on Jericho Tpke., east on Hillside Ave., back to Marcus Avenue to LIJ Hospital, east through the Lake Success Shopping Center, and ending at Notre Dame Church. Thank you to Officer Brown of the 3rd Precinct for leading our caravan.
