The Nassau Council of Chambers of Commerce held its annual Businessperson of the Year and Legislative Breakfast and Crest Hollow Country Club on Friday.

Great Neck Chamber of Commerce
Peter Andreasian, a longtime director of the Great Neck Chamber of Commerce and a recent addition to its executive committee. He is currently the broker-owner of EXIT Realty Universal, which specializes in residential real estate sales in Nassau and Queens and has himself been selling and leasing commercial real estate on Long Island for many years.
He also serves on the boards of the Multiple Listing Service of Long Island and the Great Neck Plaza Management Council, the Business Improvement District. He is married to Roxana Andreasian, who helps run his office and shares his vision for progress in Nassau County.
Evan Pett, who Iin January 2015, on the leadership of Bridge Community Church, leaving his home and church in Sydney, Australia and moving to New York.
Peet and his wife Moira have been married for 20 years and have four daughters, Eternity, Harmony, Leilani, Brooklyn and their son Israel. They have served in ministry together in three countries, New Zealand, Australia and now in the U.S.
Evan and Moira were the founding pastors of The Embassy Church in Sydney. Starting the church in 2007, they functioned as Lead Pastors until 2014. On a family holiday in October 2013 they felt called to move to New York to fulfill the next chapter in their journey.
Evan has a background in International Development, having worked as the national development manager for Compassion International in Australia as well as for Open Doors, but his passion is building the church to serve the local community.
Since Evan’s arrival in Floral Park, through his leadership at Bridge, he has been very involved in the local community, primarily through his service in the Chamber of Commerce. Bridge Community Church is currently celebrating it’s 5thAnniversary.
Manhasset Chamber of Commerce
Diane Harragan, a resident of Manhasset since 1965. She has always been active in such organizations as the Cub Scouts, Girl Scouts and the School Community Association.
She has also helped at the Congregational Church, first as a Deacon and later on the Board of Trustees. When Kiwanis opened its membership to women, Diane was among the first group of women to join and in 1993-1994, she became the first woman President of the local Kiwanis Club.
Harragan received her real estate salesperson License in 1969 and her broker license in 1974. In January 1988, she bought the Blaich office and merged it into Coach Realtors in 1998. Harragan has served as president of the Manhasset Real Estate Board and later as president of the Manhasset–Port Washington Real Estate Board. She continues to be an Associate Broker with Coach and is a specialist in Long Island’s North Shore.
She was a co-president of the Manhasset Chamber of Commerce from 2003-2007, secretary from 2014-2015 and is still active as a board member.
Mineola Chamber of Commerce
Terence Timlin, a lifelong Village of Mineola resident, serving as trustee and president of the Mineola Memorial Library for the last 15 years. He has been a Mineola Chamber member since 2010, on the Mineola Holiday Lighting committee and has volunteered in various endeavors for the chamber, including organizing a breakfast meeting on the integration of Apple products for small business owners.
Timlin is the owner of KTR Lighting, a lighting manufacturer sales rep agency. He has expanded his agency from the metropolitan New York area to Washington DC. He began his career at Creative Lighting of Mineola in high school with dreams of one day owning his own lighting showroom.
Greater New Hyde Park Chamber of Commerce
Reena Gulati earned her Economics and Law degrees from St. John’s University. She is the principal attorney at Reena Gulati PLLC and has been practicing for the past 20 years. Gulati practices in the areas of business law, real estate and estate planning and litigation. She is a member of the Nassau County Bar Association, New York State Bar Association, and member of the Business Law and Trust & Estates committees at the state Bar Association.
She has served as a member of the Nassau County Comptroller’s Environmental Advisory Committee. Gulati is currently the first vice president of the Greater New Hyde Park CoC and introduced a month-long “Shop Local Shop Greater New Hyde Park” initiative to promote local businesses.
Gulati is a participant in the Town of North Hempstead Veterans Discount Program offering affordable legal services to our veterans and also volunteers at the Nassau Suffolk Law Services offering assistance to indigent tenants in eviction proceedings
Port Washington Chamber of Commerce
Drina Scheiber, a graduate of Indiana University and began working with The Bart Group, a white-glove merchant services provider, in 2003, alongside her mother. She currently holds the title of executive director.
Schreiber sits on the board of directors of the Port Washington Chamber of Commerce and has served as the HarborFest Craft Fair Chairwoman since 2017. Additionally, Drina is co-founder and treasurer of the WithinReach Foundation, Inc. a 501 (C) 3 organization that provides financial and academic support to adult learners who have passed the high school equivalency exam and are entering college.
Schreiber has her own consulting business with Rodan + Fields to bring beautiful skin and financial freedom to all, and she is the president of the Parent Board at the Imagine Early Learning Center in Port Washington.
Roslyn Chamber of Commerce
Louis Federico, a native New Yorker, born in New York and raised in Suffolk County. Lou is a graduate of Adelphi University, earned an MBA from NYU, and spent three decades doing corporate work.
After working in the corporate world as a senior-level executive with positions ranging from vice president of sales at Cuisinart, executive vice President of DeLonghi and President of International China, Lou felt is was time for a change. Juggling worldwide travel, meeting with U.S. retailers, and joining conference calls for much of the day just wasn’t for him anymore.
In 2006 Lou entered the world of entrepreneurship. After soul searching and evaluating opportunities, Lou considered starting his own business, buying a franchise and doing consulting. CertaPro Painters had everything he was looking for, a great concept, local ownership and a prime Nassau County location; he launched his business later that year.
Lou is completing is 14th successful year as a CertaPro Painters owner with plans to continue for the foreseeable future. Lou and his family live in Glen Head and retain their CertaPro office in Roslyn.
Chamber of Commerce of the Willistons
Michael Ambrosio, who has worked on Wall Street as a vice president at JP Morgan Chase. He currently is a financial consultant with AXA Equitable. He was drawn to Williston Park’s Chamber because it excels at promoting local businesses while giving back to the community.
As a financial consultant, he helps his clients prepare for milestone life events like retirement or paying for college.
