Officials from the Nassau County Police Department reported multiple gunshots in Floral Park on Monday.
Detectives from the county’s third squad said a caller reported multiple gunshots. Officers discovered multiple 9 mm shell casings scattered throughout the roadway on McKee Street, according to a news release sent out by officials on Tuesday morning.
No injuries or damage to property were reported to officials, according to the news release.
Officials said a dark-colored vehicle resembling a Dodge sedan with New York license plates was observed traveling southbound on McKee Street near the vicinity of Whittier Street.
Efforts to reach businesses and residential homes on McKee Street for comment were unavailing.
