Four students at Hampton Street School in the Mineola Union free School District placed third in the Town of North Hempstead’s Not In Our Town Photo Contest.
The students’ work was chosen among more than 100 entries. Estefany Aguilar, Matthew Durham, Erin Gayson and William Raia will be honored at a special reception with the town in May and their winning work will hang in Town Hall in Manhasset for several months, as well as appear in an upcoming edition of The Long Island Press.
