The members of the Mineola Junior Fire Department took their annual trip up to Lake George to enjoy the sites, fun parks and had a good time. The year-round beauty of the mountains and lakes beckons anyone to come and stay awhile. How could anyone resist?

The juniors stood at the Depe Dene waterfront lodge. At the resort, the juniors had a chance to swim and relax at the resort’s beach which has paddleboats, rowboats, and canoes. Some of the members even did some fishing with a few catches.

During the week, the juniors rented a speed boat and a deck boat, so they could enjoy water tubing or just take a ride on beautiful Lake George. One night, they did the bumper car ride, laser tag at the Fun Spot Amusement center. The weather was sunny and warm.

Another day, we went to aerial adventure course at Adirondack Adventure Center where there is a state-of-the-art adventure course through a beautiful forest canopy in the Southeastern Adirondacks. We rode the zip lines, cross the wooden platforms, and had fun!

After six days, it was time to start for home. When the juniors arrived home, they were all a little tired, but with fond memories of the 2019 Lake George Trip.
