The Mineola District Council of PTAs and the Mineola Public Schools hosted a performance of Plaza Theatrical Productions’ Willy Wonka on Dec. 2.

Children and adults alike enjoyed a world of pure imagination with this family musical.  Willy Wonka was the first show of the 2017-2018 Children’s Cultural Arts Series, held in the Mineola High School theater.

The second show, National Circus Project, will be held on Saturday, Jan. 6 at 2:00 p.m.  The National Circus Project packs a panoramic presentation of circus skills into a comedy-variety show.

The final program, Beyond the Beat, will be Saturday, Feb. 10 at 2:00 p.m. The Exit 9 percussion ensemble offers a high-energy performance infused with music, humor, and audience participation.

Tickets are only $5 per child per show.  Adults and children under three-years-old are admitted for free.  Tickets can be purchased at the door before performances.  Adults must remain with their children.
