Congressman Tom Suozzi has announced that Emma Possenriede of Manhasset has participated in his summer internship program, working out of his Huntington district office.
Possenriede attended Sacred Heart Academy, graduating in 2016. She is now a rising senior at the College of the Holy Cross, where she studies political science and visual arts.
After spending the fall semester of her junior year interning for the House of Representatives at the Committee on Homeland Security, her passion for politics was solidified. This passion has been further strengthened throughout her internship with Suozzi, during which she worked with the constituents of New York’s Third District. She has had an incredible experience working for the Congressman this summer and intends to use the skills she has learned in her future endeavors.
