Manhasset Community Fund raises money for local charities

The Bayview Civic Association made a generous donation to the Manhasset Community Fund. Bayview Civic Association President, Eric Monroe awarded a check to Manhasset Community Fund Co-Presidents, Linda Clarke and John Morse at the Manhasset Community Fund sign at Mary J. Davies Park. The Bayview Civic Association raised funds for charity at their annual “Manhasset Children’s Holiday Spectacular.”

The Manhasset Community Fund awards grants to local nonprofits that are backbone to our community. In 2018, grants were awarded to Adventures’s in Learning, Child Abuse Protection Services (CAPS), Coalition Against Substance Abuse (CASA), Literacy Nassau, Manhasset Great Neck EOC, Manhasset SEPTA, Manhasset Student Aid Association (MSAA), Manhasset Women’s Coalition Against Breast Cancer, the Nicholas Center for Autism, North Shore Child and Family Guidance Center, PASE of Manhasset, Science Museum of Long Island, and the Safe Center LI. Manhasset Community Fund is currently in their final push for the 2019 giving season. 

A grant award ceremony will be held this June.

Donations to Manhasset Community Fund are 100% tax-deductible.  Manhasset Community Fund is a registered 501(c)(3) and has been supporting the residents of Manhasset since 1946. For over 73 years, the Manhasset Community Fund has been fundraising and distributing grants to support local charities that address priority needs.
