A 28 year old man from Elmhurst died Thursday after the motorcycle he was driving collided with a car on Roslyn Road, Nassau County police said.
A 90-year-old Roslyn Heights man was driving a 2013 GMC car southbound on Roslyn Road south of I.U. Willets Road when he collided with a 2007 Honda motorcycle the Elmhurst man was driving northbound.
Police said the unidentified man was pronounced dead at the scene. Both vehicles were impounded for brake and safety checks, police said.
The case is still under investigation, Nassau police said, but there was no known criminality involved.
