A 42-year-old man was arrested for allegedly exposing himself to a woman in Great Neck on Wednesday morning, according to a release from the Nassau County Police Department.
Detectives said the 47-year-old female victim, whose name was not disclosed in the release, was walking southbound on Great Neck Road when she heard whistling coming from a nearby car. The woman took a picture of the man and the dark-colored car he was driving and continued walking.
The woman walked to the H-Mart at 495 Great Neck Road and told police she saw the car turn westbound onto Northern Boulevard.
Officials arrested Ozone Park resident Krishna Sookhai, who was charged with public lewdness and was arraigned on Friday in Mineola. Efforts to reach a law enforcement official for further comment on the incident were unavailing.
