An elderly Little Neck woman was killed on Tuesday when she was crushed by her own car in a Great Neck grocery store parking lot.

Pepe Chouake, 82, was pronounced dead at 7:03 p.m. by a Nassau County emergency medical technician only 13 minutes after she was struck by her own car, which she parked in the lot behind the North Shore Farms grocery store at 90 Horace Harding Boulevard, police said.

At 6:50 p.m., Chouake parked her car in the lot, but as she stepped out of the vehicle it began to roll in reverse, police said.

Chouake was then knocked to the ground and trapped underneath the car, police said.
