Nassau County Legislator Ellen W. Birnbaum (D – Great Neck) joined the leaders and members of Great Neck Boy Scouts Troop 10 at their Court of Honor and picnic at Nassau County’s Christopher Morley Park in Roslyn on Sunday, June 13.
There, she presented the Scouts with Nassau County Certificates of Appreciation in recognition of their recent efforts to clear debris from Nassau County properties in Great Neck.
“I was delighted to recognize these young people for their noble efforts to beautify our community and ensure our land is clean,” Birnbaum said. “I thank Troop 10 for their leadership and commitment to making the world around them a better place.”
