LEGAL NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
The Board of Trustees of the Village of Roslyn Estates will hold a public hearing at 7:30 p.m. on Monday, November 19, 2018, at the Village Hall, 25 The Tulips, Roslyn, New York 11576, with respect to Bill 5 of 2018, a proposed local law amending Chapter 13, ‘Appearance Tickets,’ of the Code of the Village of Roslyn Estates, to add to Section 13-2 thereof, a new sub-clause ‘(3)’, to Clause ‘A.’ to provide that each officer and employee of the Village authorized by the Mayor to enforce any provisions of the Village Code, or any rule, regulation or resolution enacted by the Village thereunder, or any provision of the New York State Village Law, shall thereby be authorized to issue appearance tickets for the violation of any such Village Code provision, rule, regulation or resolution, or New York State Village Law provision.
At time and place of public hearing, all persons will be given opportunity to be heard. Those persons planning to attend meeting who require special accommodations because of disability should notify Village Clerk no less than 48 hours prior to meeting.
